Recent Adventures...

The Deans love adventure...
We have the honor of watching our friend's kids A LOT,
and we love it...
always an opportunity for adventure.
Always a goat to hunt...
A Roo Roo (our cat) to catch...
And don't forget Mr. Stick. An adventure isn't an adventure without Mr. Stick.
Plus...adventures are always opportunities for pictures!

Catching the Sun on his tongue.

Two in a hammock is always better than one.

He was VERY proud of himself...can you tell?

Roxy is always a highlight of any trip to the Deans!

BEAUTIFUL!
Even with chocolate yogurt on her face and tired eyes!

Always a Crazy Monkey Boy to hang out with at the Deans!

Creeks to Cross.

Grass to Roll In...

Hide and Go Seek to Play in the TALL TALL grass.

There's Mr. Stick again!

Baths to take!

We love having new life at our house....
We love adventure...
We love big smiles and laughter that fills the fields...

We cannot wait to have some adventures with our own Lil' Deans!

Cody...

Cody...This is a picture of our Cody.
I remember the day we took Cody home.
We were visiting Las Vegas, stopped in a pet store in Las Vegas,
and fell head over heels in love with this rascal.
He snuggled close to us in the car all the way to California.
Sat so still and slept so sound that we weren't even sure he was still alive.

Today Cody had to be put down.
We are all very sad.

It's funny how you can get so attached to a dog.
He really became a part of the family.

He was quite a character.
HUGE
but thought he was a lap dog.
Loved to snuggle you and Be as close to you as possible.
Stronger than an ox.
Loved people.
Could and Would fit 3 balls in his mouth at once.

He is going to be missed.
A LOT!

Thanks Cody for an amazing 12 years.
You were truly and amazing dog!

Dorky Deans...

So... Would you like to know what an average time spent with the Deans might look like?
Here are a couple photos from the past couple days.

Friday Night @ our House looked like this...Note the fort Brian set up for the nerf gun war.

Note Brian's seriously intense face...he was taking this serious!
He was shooting marshmallows and darts with his home-made marshmallow shooter

Mary even Got a gun!

The girls set up my laundry sorter as a protection... Do you think they're having fun?

"cheese Gromitt!"

Onto Day two:

What do you do on a rainy day?
If you live in my house... you play in the rain.
We literally went full into the river flowing through our backyard.
We were soaked.

Check out that rainbow!
A good reminder that God's promises stand true now and forever!

P.s. I think we are little kids stuck in grown up bodies? Any Thoughts?

Preparing...

So...Many have asked what we do while we are waiting.

In the next couple of days,
I would like to share with you some of the little things that we have done
to get ready for baby Dean.

Photo #1:

You will quickly notice a common theme...
I love owls. I think they are artsy, splendid, yumminess...
therefore, owls are sprinkled throughout my home decor.
How amazing is it that I found this owl bouncer?
Super cute right?
Even cuter with a yummy baby in it!

Also, here are some pictures I took of my friend's little girl...Hope.
She let me play dress up with some of my favorite newborn outfits that I have waiting for my little girl some day.

She likes to be held...see what happens when you put her down :/

Both the Moore kids:)

More photos to come of things we have done to prepare for Baby Dean...Be Ready!
